Our guide Luis was excellent. I especially liked how he explained the connections between artists from different eras, for example taking Las Meninas. Who knew the connection between Valesquez and Dali? I didn't, but now I do. Thank you Luis.

The ticketing process is seamless and easy. Was given earlier access than stated entrance time. The staff were helpful and ready to answer any questions. It's a wonderful collection of the well known masters and those not so recognizable.

Begin your visit by meeting the staff at the Goya Statue outside the museum, where you’ll collect your entry ticket. After a quick check-in, you can proceed directly to the museum’s entrance.

The museum remains closed on January 1, May 1, and December 25.

Some sections in the museum may be closed at the last minute at the authorities’ discretion.
