The museum is in a beautifal building and has a monumentus collection that isvast and diverse. It has renowned works by famous psinters that one encounters like old friends. Personally I especially enjoyed seeing the work of Clara Peters as she was a renowned female painter of her time. There are apple services and the staff is very helpful and attentive. I was disappointed there is no free wifi which could have expanded by enjoyment and envolvement with the works. Overall a very worth while visit

The whole museum is impressive, it has an exceptional collection of valuable works of art. We spent the whole day in it and I don't think there was enough time for everything 🙂. Our guide Federico took us through some of the most important exhibited paintings in a very interesting way and brought them closer to us, through information that we did not know before.

The museum is a must see and the tickets were easy to purchase online. We purchased the tickets with a guide book since we knew this was a very large museum. It was not easy to find the museum store to get the guide and this is a very heavy book. We did not need 2! In fact, the guide book does not help you find particular paintings, however the museum staff were very helpful.

J' ai beaucoup aimé ces deux musées. Le palais royal est impressionnant par la grandeur de ces pièces, ces lustres... fait penser un peu à Versailles en France Le musée del prado est immense. J' y ai passé cinq heures sans m'en rendre compte. Je les conseille vivement c'est l'âme de Madrid

I liked that our guide showed a few significant historical painting and pointed to details, I would have not known to look for or understood their significance. He was knowledgeable in art history. I feel enriched.
