Nach einer kurzen Nachfrage, wo man die gekauften digitalen Tickets in papierene Tickets umtauschen müsse - was beim Ticketkauf für den Prado angekündigt war, musste man vorbei an einer sehr langen Schlange von Menschen zu einem Schalter, wo man, da zwei Leute vor einem waren, von einer freundlichen Dame nach geschätzten 5 Minuten glücklich sein Eintrittsticket in Händen hatte. Alles war unkompliziert und funktionierte sehr gut. Empfehlenswert!

we were at the entrance before 10;00 am. as soon as the museum open we were able to get in with tickets bought from Headout and gain a lot of time. so, no crowd as majority of guests were on line to purchase tickets. we enjoyed the museum and spend more time watching beautiful paintings as well as Rodin's pieces

L'ingresso al museo è avvenuto in modo rapido, senza intoppi; pure la consegna dell'audioguida è avvenuta in modo efficiente e l'utilizzo della app è agevole ed intuitivo. La visita alla collezione permamente è superlativa, essendo ricca di opere di molti artisti celebri.

The museum itself is excellent. However we could have done with a little help with the audio guide at the start. We went on the audio highlights tour and it just took us a little while to understand where paintings were etc.

Easy to get into thyssen. They scanned the bar code. Was surprised to have to queue at the Prado to get a ticket. I assumed when I booked this I would avoid a ticket line. Both museums excellent.

The Thyssen-Bornemizsa museum does everything right from a museum professional's perspective. Everything is superb from the presentation, lighting, interpretation, digital resources, visitor experience, and of course, the remarkable collection that they showed to the public. Really enjoyed the temporary exhibits/ Dutch paintings/ Dali/ Kenny Scharf. Admired a lot of the American artist that are part of the permanent collection. The staff were very helpful for a non Spanish speaker like myself. It's a beautiful building and setting. Thank you.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, oversized luggage, food, and drinks are not allowed inside the museum for security reasons.

Prams, wheelchairs, and electric scooters are available for use, free of charge.

For your convenience, guide dogs are welcome to join you.

Children under 18 can enter for free.

Note: Temporary exhibitions have limited capacity. Entry is timed, with visitors admitted every 15 minutes.

Access to the permanent collection is free on Mondays from 12pm to 4pm, and on Saturdays from 9pm to 11pm.

Facilities: Baby feeding room, Wi-Fi, ATM, cloakroom, mobile charging stations, and cafes.

Audio guide available on the Second Canvas Thyssen app. Instructions to download will be shared with your ticket. Do bring your own headphones.
