I recently visited Lusail Winter Wonderland, and overall it was a fun and exciting experience. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt lively and festive, especially with the bright lights, music, and decorations. The park is very large and offers a wide variety of rides, so there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed the thrilling rides, especially the bigger attractions, which were exciting and well-organized. The Ferris wheel was one of my favorite experiences because it gave an amazing view of the park and Lusail city, particularly at night. There are also many rides and games for children, making it a great place for families. There were plenty of food stalls and snack options around the park, which made it easy to take breaks between rides. However, some rides had long waiting times, especially during busy hours, and the prices for games and food felt a bit high. Overall, my visit to Wonderland Qatar was memorable and enjoyable. It’s a great place to spend time with friends or family, and I would definitely recommend visiting, especially in the evening when the park looks its best

I visited Lusail Winterland during the current promotion, and understandably the place was extremely packed. The atmosphere was lively, but crowd management struggled to keep up with demand. Waiting times for rides were excessive. The Shamal ride, for example, had a queue of nearly two hours, which can be frustrating, especially for families with kids. What was also disappointing is that despite booking tickets online in advance, we still had to join the same entry queue. Whether you book online or buy on the spot, you end up waiting around an hour just to get in, which defeats the purpose of advance booking. Seating was very limited, and what seating existed was often misused. I personally saw a paper plate left on a chair for over three hours, which reflects both a lack of guest discipline and insufficient cleaning rounds. Facilities need better organization. The prayer room was difficult to locate, and once found, there was no clear Qibla direction, which is a basic requirement in a family-oriented venue in Qatar. The non-smoking policy is understandable given the number of children and families. However, there should be designated smoking areas outside the main venue, or at least ashtrays placed externally. Currently, smokers are left without any practical option. Overall, Lusail Winterland has strong potential and an exciting concept, but during peak periods, better crowd control, clearer signage, more seating, and improved facility management would significantly enhance the guest experience.

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID matching your booking. You must present it if requested on entry.

Collect and wear your QR-coded wristband (the main entry method and payment device) at all times inside the event.

Dress modestly according to the conservative culture of Qatar; comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes are recommended.

Park credits can be topped up on your wristband for rides, food, and attractions; cash is not accepted.

What’s not allowed

Outside food and drinks are not permitted beyond the gates.

Alcohol, recreational drugs, and smoking are strictly prohibited.

Large bags, suitcases, and any oversized luggage are not allowed in the park. No locker or storage facilities for such items.

Pets are not allowed except for registered service dogs.

Segways, scooters, bicycles, hoverboards, skateboards, and roller skates are not permitted inside the park.

Entry wristbands and QR access codes cannot be transferred, exchanged, altered, or resold.

Additional rides and attractions outside your ticket's access are not permitted unless you pay for upgrades separately.

Smoking is strictly not allowed anywhere in the park.

Accessibility

The park is designed for easy accessibility, and there are toilet facilities for those with limited mobility.

Visitors with disabilities get free entry with a government-issued card. Please ask staff for details about accessible rides and facilities.

Prayer rooms and baby changing facilities are available across the site.
