One of the most well-known authors in the children's book industry, Michael Rosen, has reimagined the Charles Dickens classic Oliver Twist in his novel Unexpected Twist. The show is full of unpredictable twists and turns, combining Rosen's tale and the Dickens classic that served as its inspiration into a single narrative. It will be staged at the Rose Theatre Kingston for a 5-day run. The Children's Theatre Partnership, whose previous productions have included Animal Farm, Holes, and The Jungle Book, brings this exciting play to life in vivid detail. Rosen's book is adapted for the stage by BAFTA award-winning playwright Roy Williams with original music by emerging R&B artist Yaya Bey and BAC Beatbox Academy's Conrad Murray.
