Following a successful debut 10 years ago, Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty is back at Sadler’s Wells again. In this inventive production, Aurora pricks herself in 1911, waking up 100 years later to a whole new world. The first part of this story is set in 1890, taking you from the times of Imperial Russia all the way to the 21st century. Musical scores and dance numbers convey the passage of time, utilising a variety of styles to perfection.
