Finally back at West End Theatre, the revival of From Here To Eternity – The Musical is all set to entertain viewers with fantastic performances, and a riveting score, and lyrics by Stuart Brayson and Time Rice.
This gripping and fated musical of a group of soldiers based in Hawaii in 1941 has enthralled audiences since its 2013 debut London stage performance at Shaftesbury Theatre. Set against the backdrop of the catastrophic attack on Pearl Harbour, which is to happen in a few months, it’s natural to be swept into the lives and emotions of the G Company battalion men and wish that life wasn’t heading for destruction and chaos. Rocky relationships, illicit affairs, and the general discipline and rules of army life dominate the storyline of this high-powered production.
From Here To Eternity – The Musical has an impressive musical score from Stuart Brayson and lyrics from the world-famous and Tony and Academy award-winning lyricist Tim Rice. Rice’s other shows include Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Chess. The cast of the Charing Cross revival of From Here to Eternity is yet to be announced.
