Una mañana increíble donde no estuvo para nada complicado con los tiempos ,había poca gente, muchísimas cosas por ver y que las pude ver y contemplarlas de una manera diferente. El museo tiene una cafetería lo cual hace que sea aún mejor poder la estancia con un pequeño descanso entre medio.

Ma visite au musée des Invalides a été une véritable plongée dans l’histoire. Dès l’arrivée, l’architecture impose le respect et le silence. Chaque salle raconte un morceau du passé militaire français. Les armures et uniformes impressionnent par leur précision et leur état. On imagine les soldats qui les ont portés, les batailles vécues. Les canons et objets d’époque témoignent de siècles de conflits. L’atmosphère est à la fois solennelle et captivante. On avance lentement, presque naturellement, pour tout observer. Les explications permettent de mieux comprendre les enjeux historiques. Certaines périodes marquent plus que d’autres par leur intensité. Le lieu invite à la réflexion sur la guerre et ses conséquences. La richesse des collections est impressionnante. Chaque détail semble chargé de mémoire. Le parcours est dense mais bien organisé. On ne voit pas le temps passer. Le calme contraste avec la violence des événements racontés. La visite devient presque introspective. Arriver au tombeau de Napoléon est un moment fort. Le lieu impose un profond respect. La grandeur du site frappe immédiatement. On ressent le poids de l’Histoire. La lumière et l’espace renforcent l’émotion. C’est un moment de pause et de contemplation. On ressort avec beaucoup d’images en tête. Et surtout, avec de nouvelles connaissances. La visite laisse une impression durable. Elle donne envie d’en apprendre davantage. Un lieu incontournable pour comprendre l’histoire de France.

We really didn't skip any lines. It was simply a ticket holders line. There was nothing special about the ticket. But the rest of the experience was awesome!

What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID for entry and to collect any access passes if required.

Keep your ticket with you until the end of your visit, as you may be asked to show it to enter different parts of the site.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum. There are no lockers available for storage.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Food and drinks are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not permitted inside the museum.

Accessibility

Visitors with motor disabilities can enter through the Place Vauban side.

People with mobility impairments can borrow a wheelchair (subject to availability) at the ticket desk on the Esplanade des Invalides and Place Vauban sides. Proof of identity is required to be left at the reception desk during your visit.

Toilets are available in the museum areas and are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Additional information

The museum is free for visitors under 18 and for EU citizens under 26, but a ticket or access pass must be collected on-site before entry.

Cloakrooms are available for small items.

The museum is closed on January 1, May 1, and December 25.

The tills close 30 minutes before the museum closes; plan your visit accordingly.

Access to the site is from the Esplanade des Invalides (10am to 6pm) and from Place Vauban (2pm to 6pm).

Family activities are available on weekends at 11am and 2:30pm in French, with tickets for children available on-site and subject to availability.

Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled entry or tour start time.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.

Please arrive at the redemption point 15 minutes before the scheduled time of your tour to avoid any delays.
