Visiting Underwater World Langkawi was such a delightful experience! The variety of marine life was impressive, from colorful tropical fish to graceful stingrays and playful penguins. The highlight was definitely the long underwater tunnel—walking through it felt like being surrounded by the ocean itself. The exhibits are well-organized with informative displays, making it both fun and educational for all ages. The penguin and seal feeding sessions were especially enjoyable and great for families with kids. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and air-conditioned, offering a refreshing break from the outdoor heat. The Langkawi Underwater World, sprawled across nearly 6 acres is home to over 4,000 different aquatic species, the aquarium is a must-visit for nature lovers and those who are curious about marine life. The building is divided into three ecosystems: Tropical Rainforest, Temperate, and Sub-Antarctic. See gigantic sea creatures like stingrays, and green turtles as you walk through the 15-meter-long tunnel containing 500,000 liters of seawater! Make your way to the "Penguinarium," which consists of a small tunnel where you can watch adorable penguins play and swim. You can also visit during feeding time and learn more about these animals as they show off to their trainers.

Soar high above the island

What better way to experience the beauty of Langkawi than by hovering above it at 708 meters above sea level? This is Malaysia's highest cable car ride that lets you soar through the eastern cliffs of Mt. Machinchang and its towering summit. Embark upon a scenic ride from the base to the middle station, covering more than 1,700 meters in distance. Once at the station, a short walk to the top rewards you with spectacular views of the Langkawi archipelago and Southern Thailand!
