The Kia Oval Grounds opened in the year of 1845 and has hosted multiple sporting events since. Known for hosting the first England international cricket match back in 1990, this cricket ground has since been the venue for multiple other sporting events: the first-ever FA Cup in 1872 and England’s first rugby match in 1876! Home to many other England sporting triumphs, Kia Oval hosted the finale to the exciting 2005 Ashes!
For 90 minutes, you’ll get to discover more about the home of Surrey County Cricket Club and the many sporting triumphs that have taken place on these iconic grounds for nearly 200 years. Listen intently as your tour guide expertly lead you through the Oval and shares the ground’s exhilarating history. Sneak a peek into the behind-the-scenes of the ground for some reveals worth bragging about.
