Intrepid Museum

The USS Intrepid, once a WWII US aircraft carrier, is now home to one of the most popular American military and maritime museums. The museum hosts a wide collection ranging from submarines, to space shuttles and even a Concorde.

C'était plus que formidable . J'aimais la vue de ça . J'étais capable de voir la majorité de la ville avec l'altitude. C'est magnifique pour la prise des photos . À l'intérieur aussi il y avait des endroits extravagants. C'était une belle expérience que je recommande.

Me encantó visitar The Edge, tiene una parte inmersiva muy interesante. Me encantaron los guineos rosa y amarillo. Salir a ver la ciudad desde arriba fue impresionante, te deja sin palabras. Disfrutamos mucho!!

To see it in its entirety was fantastic. The volunteers assuming ex- servicemen made it like you were part of it. Both the Intrepid and the Growler were amazing to walk through. The free Kamikaze video was very moving.

It was alright and exciting to see. All in all we all thought. It was very exciting to see an experience all the different planes and the submarine that. But we must admit it stupid you take all the photos that people doesn't buy.

Visited with 3 children ages 5 -10, during Kids Week at The Intrepid Museum. They were not too sure at the beginning, but all ended up loving it! Being able to see actual planes and helicopters (even climb inside one!) helped solidify how HUGE the ship had to be to accommodate all the aircraft, as well as all the people to run the ship. We climbed up and around every available level, seeing what life was like on board. Staff we readily available for information and directions, in addition to the map (available in multiple languages). Kids Week activities had something for everyone to do, and gave a change of pace for everyone from time to time throughout the day. We stayed much longer than we had anticipated, as there was so much to see and do, and all went home tired and happy.

9/11 was without doubt the stand out. I remember exactly where I was on that fateful day in the UK. Being here in amongst the memorial museum was emotional but was an experience that really touched me.
