Guided Tours in Porto

Beautiful experience, had the chance to go through the river and watch the bridges history of Porto was super interesting, I'd totally recommend it

Overall good experience but were not prepared for the guided tour via the app. Figured it out about 15 minutes into the trip that it was available.

We had the perfect guide: - we learned a lot on how the porto and wines are produced - he clearly was passionated (without being overenthousiastic) There was the Right balance between explanation/guided tour & tasting.

Er wusste so viel, nie war es uns langweilig. Weil es regnerisch war, hat er den Trip so gewählt, dass wir dem Regen meistens entkommen konnten. Auch bei Nebel ist der Trip empfehlenswert, bekommt eine mystische Note. Der Chauffeur ist sehr sicher gefahren, wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Our tour guide for the full day Duoro Valley Tour was Paula and she was absolutely fantastic! We learned so much and had a lot of fun on this tour! It can be a long day but she kept us entertained and engaged the whole time. We actually went on a second tour with Living Tours the next day - 1/2 Day Porto Tour with John. He was amazing too! Living Tours is an excellent company if you want to go on tours, learn a lot and have fun. They care about you and your experience.

First off this is the tour you want. Our Guide Nuno has a degree in history and we learned lots about Portugal, the Douro and the land. He took us to two great wineries, both very different but great in their own ways. One was a big producer, but was doing everything ecologically. The second was a very small woman run winery with very unique wines. The lunch was incredible. Cooked over wood fires in a hundreds year old kitchen. Served with their own wines made on site. Fun, wonderful family run place. We spent so much time at the lunch that our boat tour had to be shorter. But that was fine as the weather was a bit rainy. I would highly recommend this tour as the guides were incredible and due to the small size of the group we were able to go to very small vineyards. Also they chose family run places where you get the feel of being part of the family.

Mini van with 5 pax was the perfect group size. Our guide George was very informative on the sights as we drove to Douro with a surprise stop in Amarante a small historic village. Both wineries we visited were fabulous. Our scrumptious lunch with quality wine at the 1st non mass producer that is also a hotel was definitely the highlight along with informative winery tour and tastings. The views were absolutely incredible. Pinhao boat ride was nice and informative. So glad I took the premium tour as it was exactly what I expected and delivered 100%. A step up from the masses. Bonus was hotel pick up and stop off. You must choose this tour to make it the highlight of your Porto visit as it was mine.

This cruise was great. We took the 11 hours, breakfast included, great lunch plenty of food and a bottle of wine per couple, included a tour in a vineyard with wine tasting. A bus brought us back to Porto right to the center, it was A Great Experience!
