It was fantastic...everything from the little terminal to ground staff to Tori our pilot. Even the music in The helicopter made the experience so memorable. Flying into the canyon was so breathtaking... will be a best memory of this trip. Thank you SO much.

We started our tour from Las Vegas with a truck picking us up at 6:30 am. The bus was really friendly, making stops for snacks and stretching our legs since it was a 4-hour drive. Those going on the helicopter got off first for a weight check, then we waited a bit before heading to the Maverick helicopter for the tour. Everyone was super friendly, and the pilot explained everything we needed to know before we boarded. Once in the air, we embarked on a stunning adventure over the Grand Canyon, taking in gorgeous views. It lasted about 45 minutes before we returned to the bus for lunch. We stopped at various viewpoints and shops for souvenirs-everything was well-organized. We got back to Vegas around 7 pm. Highly recommend this tour!

We chose Maverick based on recommendations and positive reviews, and we were not let down. We received an email reminder about our flight, enjoyed a smooth check-in, and experienced professional service throughout. Our pilot shared interesting commentary about various sights (it's the Grand Canyon, everything's stunning!) during the flight. I think 45 minutes is just right since you fly about 10 minutes over the pine forest, leaving you with around 25 minutes over the Canyon-any shorter would mean less time to be wowed! Our trip was at 10 am, so if you have a similar time, make sure to snap a lot of pictures on the way out; the return flight is into the sun, which can create reflections. Highly recommend it!

What an incredible experience! Words can’t quite capture the feeling of the helicopter taking off, flying for a few minutes, and then suddenly, the world drops away as you soar over the canyon rim into the canyon itself! The flight lasted about 45 minutes, but it flew by in an instant. The pilot narrated points of interest during the flight, but honestly, it didn’t register as I was simply in awe of the majestic scenery. Visiting the Grand Canyon and taking a helicopter flight was on my bucket list, so being able to do both together was amazing. If you have the chance to do this, don’t hesitate; it’s truly life-changing and worth every penny!

My wife and I had been eagerly anticipating this trip for years. As a former Army Helicopter Pilot who served in Vietnam, I was thrilled when the staff arranged for Sean, another ex-Army pilot who flew in Afghanistan, to be our pilot. We were lucky enough to sit in the front, which not only brought back memories for me but also let my wife experience the flight from my perspective. The aerial view of the Canyon was absolutely stunning, to say the least. Sean was incredibly skilled and professional, providing insightful commentary throughout the flight. Words can hardly express how incredible this tour is. We had some initial hiccups confirming our booking, but the communication was excellent, and we still made it on time. The flight was phenomenal. The pilot ensured everyone had a great view and was comfortable. We soared over the canyon, and it was awe-inspiring to see everything from above. We flew along the south rim and up to the north rim, taking in various perspectives of the canyon. The flight was smooth and enjoyable, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat! It’s absolutely worth the cost-truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I’m so glad we did this!

The views from inside the canyon were spectacular! The pilot Justin was excellent very professional and very informative! The whole experience will never be forgotten.

It was disappointing. We spent too much time over the forest. The canyon was spectacular for those that could see. Passengers in the middle at the back could barely view. The music in the headphones was too loud and we couldn't hear the pilot. All in all, definitely not value for money.

Best way to see the Grand Canyon!

What to bring

Guests 18 years and older must bring a government-issued form of identification.

Layered clothing is recommended from March - Sept, and winter clothing from Oct to mid-March. Sneakers or hiking boots are highly recommended.

What's not allowed

Purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft due to limited space.

Use of 'selfie sticks' and extended camera poles is strictly prohibited in and around the aircraft.

Additional information

Passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more will be charged for an additional comfort seat.

In the event of an increased price of aviation fuel, a per-person fuel surcharge may apply.

Passengers under the age of 15 cannot travel alone and must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 years or older.
