Linda was brilliant at giving insight and making it a fun and memorable experience. She went above and beyond to answer questions and make the day enjoyable. The tour was done really well with it starting outside the castle and touring through the castle walls and Linda finding quiet locations to give information so we could all hear. Would definitely recommend.

The ture guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. She made sure that everyone made it to the tour. Then she took is aside to set the seen and add to the mindset of the time period.she also involved the tourists in the story for the fun of it.

Our guide was David RIzzio - foul-mouthed, irreverent, camp and a very fast walker. Amongst grisly ghost stories and macarbre murder tales, he also found time to heap abuse on Americans, the English, J.K. Rowling, people who walk slowly, people who don't know how to turn their phones into flashlights, other ghost tour operators, his colleagues, his ex, people in general... A hugely entertaining evening.

Highlights: Edinburgh’s story in two layers — a guided walk around Edinburgh Castle, then a ghost tour through Old Town alleys and into the South Bridge Underground. Edinburgh Castle: Entry included with a 45-min express English-guided tour (outside the castle), plus time to explore independently after. Edinburgh Underground Ghost Tour: English-speaking guide leads you past key Old Town stops, ending with an underground visit beneath South Bridge. Do both on the same day if you like — the castle visit includes free time after the guided portion, so you’re not rushed once you’re inside.Additional Highlights:

Linda, our tour guide, was very personable and presented the information in an entertaining fashion. It was a very cold, windy day and she made it enjoyable.
