What to bring

Bring a valid photo ID to match the name on your booking if requested at the entrance.

Carry your passport, as it may be required for domestic flights and entry to attractions.

If you do not already have an Egyptian visa, bring 35 USD in cash (USD currency only) to purchase one before traveling to Cairo.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Bring sun protection such as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the museum or attractions for security reasons.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Alcohol, drugs, and any form of intoxication are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces.
