Allereerst: de watervallen en de natuur eromheen waren waanzinnig! We kregen heel veel vrijheid om onze eigen dag in te vullen, dat was heel fijn. Je kon volledig je eigen dag bepalen. Wij kozen er bijvoorbeeld voor om te wandelen naar Skradin, absoluut een aanrader! Alles was duidelijk en goed geregeld, we zouden het zo weer overdoen!

Skradinski Buk: A walk to the waterfalls

After your 1.5-hour drive to the Lozovac entrance, go on a peaceful 2km walk, pass by old watermill systems, and learn facts from your guide before reaching the Skradinski Buk waterfalls. The watermills have played a vital role in the economy of the region and served trade routes too. The Skadrinski Buk is a series of 17 waterfalls that create pools and other waterbodies surrounded by lush greenery. Continue down the path where you will come across many lakes and falls, making this one of the most well-preserved ecosystems in Croatia.

Skadrin: A boat ride to your swim stop

If you think the walking tour and waterfalls were stunning, this boat ride down the river canyon to the next location will surprise you! The lovely town of Skadrin is known for its religious spaces like St. Mary’s Church in the main square, laden with baroque motifs. Enjoy a swim in the lower part of the stream, surrounded by nature.

Plastovo: In the mood for wine?

Post a good swim, if you’re in the mood for a good lunch and a visit to the wine tavern, then you can include Plastovo village in your tour. Find local food and wine here and learn about the process of making them. Get to taste the flavors of the cuisine here from the local families and take back unforgettable memories with you.

7:50am - Tour briefing and ticket check at the Grayline office in Trogir

8:30am-9:30am - Drive from Trogir to Krka NP, entrance Lozovac

10am-12pm - Visiting Skradinski Buk (free time)

12:30pm-1pm - Boat ride down the Krka River canyon

1pm-3pm - Free time for swimming and relaxing

3pm-4pm - Food and wine stop at the local family agrotourism (optional)

5:30pm - Return to Trogir
