I liked the scenery and commentary on the ride there and the free time at Hallstatt. I wish it was a bit longer. It also would have been cool to take the same route back to Salzburg as we took to Hallstatt.

Join a guided group tour from Salzburg, exploring Hallstatt’s old town, historic sites, and lakeside beauty with expert insights.

Enjoy round-trip bus transfers with no taxi hassle, and guided commentary in both English and German throughout the tour.

Step inside the Bone House, Catholic Church, and local museum for a closer look at Hallstatt’s fascinating heritage.

Stroll Hallstatt’s scenic lakeside paths, soaking in mountain views, baroque homes, waterfalls, and timeless village charm.
