Day Trips From Athens

Très belle expérience ! Nous avions choisi ce tour car nous voulions visiter Delphes, sans galère de logistique mais sans non plus devoir rester en groupe lors d'une visite guidée lourde. La formule est très bien : trajet dans bus confort avec quelques explications, puis laissés en autonomie dans ce site magnifique avec audio-guides (le timing était parfait, ni trop court ni trop long). Avant de prendre la route retour nous avons déjeuné face à un panorama incroyable de la vallée. Notre guide Valisis était souriant et serviable tout au long de la journée. Merci !

Posti stupendi, tour organizzato veramente bene nonostante gli scioperi in atto in Grecia, guida super simpatica e informata sui posti, disponibile per ogni domanda. Unica pecca, se per caso non volete mangiare in un posto "obbligato" portatevi dietro del cibo da casa ia per pranzo sia per cena

Escursione organizzata molto bene. Purtroppo ad oggi è ancora in atto la protesta degli agricoltori greci e questo allunga almeno di 1 ora il viaggio. Questo a portato a non poter visitare le caverne. Ad ogni modo la visita ai monasteri è stata molto interessante e la guida ci ha spiegato bene la storia e la geologia dei luoghi. Col senno di poi varrebbe la pena fare una notte fuori e non fare la gita in gionata da Atene; in questo modo si vedrebbero con un po' più di calma i monasteri. Da tener presente che ad oggi c'è da pagare un ingresso di 5 euro a persona.

I used the Gray Line Athens Hop-On Hop-Off bus for 2 days combined with the Parthenon entrance ticket, and the experience was excellent. The buses were consistently on time and very reliable, unlike many hop-on hop-off services I’ve used in other countries. The routes are long and well planned, covering many interesting areas, with three different routes to choose from. The Yellow (Beach) Route was my favorite for its relaxed scenery, while the Blue Route is shorter but still very appealing, and the Red Route offers a comprehensive overview of Athens’ main highlights. The Parthenon ticket made everything very convenient. There was no need to queue, and entry was quick and hassle-free—just scan the barcode and walk straight in. Overall, this combo offers great value and is a very efficient way to explore Athens comfortably.

Die gesamte Anlage der Akropolis ist absolut eindrücklich und der Eintritt ist jeden Euro wert. Es ist wahnsinnig, was zu jener Zeit gebaut wurde.

The guide Dido (hopefully I wrote it correctly) was great. The audio guide works on GPS - it starts an interesting story and then just switches to another and you cannot hear the ending. In general, the tour is great for lazy afternoon in the city, if you don't want to plan anything yourself. Everything is taken care of. And the view of the temple is great even without buying the entering tickets.

Actual tour was amazing, but we were told 2 different pick up locations and only ended up realising this once we got to the wrong location. Bus didn't turn up so rang the company and they said the pick up address was on the other side of Athens. Had to quickly uber to the right location after being told the wrong one, we were very lucky to not miss it. More information should be provided on this tour as it is quite unorganised.

It was an amazing trip! Our guide Stefanos was very friendly, funny and had great knowledge about the country and every region and town we passed by. He was always on top of the schedule and made sure everyone was having good time. We had great time hiking through the Delphi archeological site, visited museum and took a lot of photos during the whole trip. It is really worth the prize cause you don't have to worry about anything- just focus on collecting memories from your time in Greece.
