The trip was well organised with different timings across the day to spread the crowds. We were pleased it was cooler time of year so waiting wasn't too hot and it was a pleasant temperature at the top. The access was goood for most levels of mobility and it wasn't exhausting going up. You definitely need good flat shoes/trainers as it can be slippery off the main tracks. At the top there was lots of space for all to enjoy delicate the crowds on the way up. It was awe inspiring looking at the Parthenon and other buildings. Very pleased we went to the acropolis museum first and knew more about the history and buildings.

Everything about the experience was just surreal. I’ve always had a huge love for Greek mythology, so actually being there and seeing it all in person felt like a dream come true. Walking through the ancient sites, imagining all the stories that took place there it honestly gave me goosebumps. The guided tour made it even better; they shared so many cool facts, myths, and little details I never would’ve known on my own. It wasn’t just a visit, it felt like stepping right into history.

Visiting the Acropolis was absolutely incredible. The history and architecture are breathtaking, and seeing it in person gave me a real sense of how advanced and artistic ancient Greece was. Truly memorable experience taking my retired architect father to visit the Acropolis Parthenon for his 80th birthday. A dream come true for him. Went earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. No pressure rushing to the top so plenty of time to take in the spectacular buildings and views from the top. Very easy to find and access and sunshine to top it off!

Excellent, we went in November so no crowds, no queues and everything was easy to navigate. Bus staff very friendly and helpful. Acropolis and Parthenon amazing, went straight in at our allocated time and not too many people in there so got some great photos.

The App does not work at the Parthenon entrance. We had to go all the way back to the car park for any type of reception . Therefore we missed the guided tour . Print the ticket before you go The blue bus audio tour was terrible. The Big Bus Tour audio guide was very good .

Acropolis & Parthenon

The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Contact the site a day before your visit at +30 210 3214172 or +30 210 9238470 to confirm availability.

Baby strollers are not permitted inside the Acropolis archaeological site due to the site's uneven terrain and lack of suitable storage facilities.
