Truly memorable experience taking my retired architect father to visit the Acropolis Parthenon for his 80th birthday. A dream come true for him. Went earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. No pressure rushing to the top so plenty of time to take in the spectacular buildings and views from the top. Very easy to find and access and sunshine to top it off!

J'ai adoré la gentillesse du personnel à l'arrivée. Le jardin de l'Acropolis, mais également le grand théâtre, j'ai adoré les monuments et le soleil qui se reflète sur la pierre, la distinction entre la couleur de la pierre d'origine et celle de la restauration fait par les professionnels.

Visiting the Acropolis was unforgettable. Walking among the ancient ruins, I felt surrounded by history and grandeur. The Parthenon was breathtaking up close, and the views over Athens were incredible, making the climb absolutely worth it.

Accessibility

Acropolis & Parthenon

The Acropolis has limited accessibility for visitors with mobility challenges. While there is an elevator near the South Slope entrance, its operation is managed entirely by the venue and may not always be available. Contact the site a day before your visit at +30 210 3214172 or +30 210 9238470 to confirm availability.

Baby strollers are not permitted inside the Acropolis archaeological site due to the site's uneven terrain and lack of suitable storage facilities.
