We are from South Africa, over 50 and first-time travellers, and honestly felt a bit overwhelmed and unsure how everything works in Dubai. While standing in the long line to buy tickets at Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, I suggested to my husband that we skip the queue and try booking online. Being born BC (before computers), technology doesn’t come easily to us, but we took a leap of faith, downloaded the Headout app, booked our tickets, skipped the queue, and saved a whopping 100 dirhams! We were really impressed with Headout and the app is now permanently on my phone. We’ll definitely be using it again in the future, even back home in South Africa when we travel. Just wish we had known about it earlier in our trip to Dubai, as we could have saved quite a bit on other activities too.

The tastiest part of my experience at Gastronomy was honestly the variety and quality of flavors under one roof. I had a wonderful experience at Kaleidoscope at Atlantis. The food selection was amazing with so many international dishes to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Amazing water park in Dubai with exciting rides, clean facilities, and a fun atmosphere. There are attractions for all ages, from extreme slides to relaxing pools. “I had a very pleasant experience at Atlantis. The children went on the slides, while the parents relaxed on the beach. Very crowded at each slide. Without fast access, the waiting time would have been over 30 minutes, which is quite unpleasant

I used Headout to book tickets for Aquaventure Waterpark in Dubai — and it turned out to be one of the best water-park experiences I’ve ever had! From quick and hassle-free booking to seamless entry with QR code, everything was smooth. The slides were thrilling, the wave pool was huge and fun, and the staff were courteous and helpful. We spent nearly the full day there and had a blast — every ride was exciting, the lockers and shower facilities were clean, and there was good food available. Le parc est incroyable, immense, avec des toboggans super fun, en toute sécurité et une grande propreté. Evidemment il y a du monde et donc des files d'attente ...mais ça vaut le coup !

What's not allowed

Aquaventure Waterpark

Keep in mind outside food & beverages, glassware, alcohol, glassware, alcohol, selfie sticks, handheld GoPro, other action cameras, shoes, aqua socks with thick and/or rubber soles are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Strict dress code: Guests are allowed to wear one-piece/two-piece swimsuit, speedo, rash guard, board shorts, and burkini. Abayas, sarees, cotton tops/bottoms, jeans, long pants, undergarments, street clothing, and sheer/see-through items or other materials deemed inappropriate are not allowed.

Regular nappies/diapers are not allowed in any pool or attraction. Guests can purchase swim nappies/diapers from the gift shops in the venue.

Diving is not permitted anywhere in the resort or Aquaventure Waterpark.

Intoxicated guests will be refused entry to Aquaventure Waterpark.

Mobile phones are only allowed if safely secured in a waterproof neck pouch on Aquaventure Waterpark slides, except for the Vortex body slide.

Queue-jumping or saving a place in the queue is strictly prohibited. Guests who violate this policy may be asked to leave Aquaventure Waterpark. Guests may not exit a queue and return to the same position for any reason.

Dining at Atlantis

Strict dress code: Sleeveless t-shirts, swimwear, flip-flops, and sports shorts are not allowed.

Keep in mind big luggage is not allowed inside the restaurant and also can't be stored at the venue. Pack wisely!

Your safety comes first. So, pregnant women and guests with back, neck, joint, and cardiac issues, injuries (casts, bandages, etc), or contagious diseases are restricted from participating in this experience.

Aquaventure Waterpark

Life jackets are available at different locations around Aquaventure Waterpark. Ask a lifeguard for assistance.

Life jackets are required for all swimmers under 1.2 meters (48”) and recommended for weak or inexperienced swimmers of all ages.

Children aged 3 years and above with a height exceeding 1.2 meters are permitted.

Locker and towel rentals are available within the waterpark for a small fee. Free locker and towel rental is available for guests who have opted for the Dolphin Meet & Greet upgrade.

Dining at Atlantis

Complimentary valet parking is available whilst dining at Atlantis.

Guests must inform the venue if they will be more than 15 minutes late for their reservation by calling restaurant reservations at +971 4 426 2626.

Luggage can only be kept at the hotel's reception area for hotel guests. Guests not staying in Atlantis won't be able to store their bags.

Menu items can change without prior notice at the restaurant’s discretion.
