Collect the Lisbon Card on the day you choose when booking. You will have 1 year to activate the card. Once redeemed, it is valid for 24/48/72 hours depending on the ticket option chosen.

Bear in mind that national monuments and museums are closed on the following dates: January 1, Easter Sunday, May 1, December 24 and 25, and on municipal holidays (June 13 in Lisbon and June 29 in Sintra).

Museums and monuments undergoing temporary renovation are clearly marked within the guidebook.
