Visiting Tivoli Gardens in the days before Christmas was absolutely magical! At 60, I didn’t expect to feel such childlike wonder, but this place proved that joy has no age limit. The Hans Christian Andersen ride was a highlight - sitting in a trunk while his beloved characters sprang to life around us was enchanting and beautifully executed. But what truly took our breath away were the lights. Every corner we turned revealed another stunning display, each more creative than the last. The entire park glowed with warmth and festive spirit. Whether you’re 6 or 60, Tivoli at Christmas is an experience that fills your heart. The combination of nostalgic charm, impressive attractions, and that quintessentially Danish coziness made this unforgettable.

We spent Christmas day at the Tivoli Gardens. It was a lovely magical experience and one that I would gladly repeat. There was so much to see and do. There were lots of lovely craft shops, places to eat and places to enjoy a drink. The amusement rides were great fun and scary in equal measures. There was also the option to ice skate. The fireworks at the end of the night were spectacular. Well done to all involved in making a visit to Tivoli a very special and memorable experience.

Cela reste correct dans l'ensemble rapport qualité prix, l'avantage est d'être situé en plein cœur de la ville. Même à la sortie le soir des supermarchés ouverts et le métro à deux pas. Bien organisé la magie de Noël est bien là, les employés sont agréables et les services nombreux. Large choix de manèges et d'activités pour petits et grands. Bien aménagé. Le feux d'artifice était magnifique, même si un peu court. Belle journée en famille pour Noël. Nous recommandons.

We went for new years, the entry was easy. We just showed our ticket and went in! And when you buy all day ticket you can go any time you want. You just need to tell the staff to give you a stamp for re-enter.

What a beautiful place, more than well worth a visit. It's like a fairytale village in Copenhagen. We were lucky to visit on the 4th of January and it had snowed making Tivoli I think even prettier possibly. We went with my children now 19 and 15 and my husband. The children loved the rides. I paid for myself individually. A really magical place. xxxx

What to bring

Consider bringing your own food and non-alcoholic beverages, which can be enjoyed in designated garden areas and on benches.

Keep the Tivoli app ready and log in before your ride if you wish to download ride photos directly to your phone.

What’s not allowed

Due to venue restrictions, your pets are not allowed.

Large bags, suitcases, bicycles, mopeds, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, alcoholic beverages, drugs, and any form of intoxication are not allowed inside the Gardens.

Smoking and e-cigarettes are only permitted in designated smoking zones.

Bare feet and bare upper bodies are not allowed; shoes and clothing must be worn at all times.

Littering, vandalism, and aggressive or disruptive behaviour are strictly prohibited.

Erecting placards, distributing brochures, political propaganda, and picking flowers or plants are not allowed.

Food and drinks cannot be brought onto the rides.

Accessibility

Tivoli Gardens is wheelchair accessible; visitors may bring electric or manual wheelchairs.

Accessible restrooms are available throughout the park.

Baby changing facilities are available at several restrooms across the Gardens.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

Your ticket is valid for a single visit for one person on the selected date.

Children under 3 years enjoy free entrance when accompanied by a paying adult (one adult may accompany up to four children under 3; additional children require a child ticket).

Children under 1 year can try rides without a Ride Pass when accompanied by a paying person over 14 years of age, subject to ride safety and height requirements.

All rides have specific age, height, and health restrictions; please read the guidelines for each ride and follow staff instructions.

Ride Passes do not include certain seasonal rides and do not grant access to Haunted House and Villa Vendetta during Halloween.

Tickets are scanned at the entrance; for Ride Passes, scan your ticket at the self-service machine inside the Gardens.

On Fridays with Friday Rock events, different entry prices apply depending on entry time (before or after 6pm), and access may be restricted if capacity is reached.

If you leave and wish to re-enter, you must exit through Tivoli Food Hall and obtain a re-entry stamp; re-entry may not be possible during major events.

Facilities: Cloakroom and luggage lockers, restrooms, first-aid, and lost and found.

Your voucher will be emailed to you instantly.

Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the redemption point.
