Alles war sehr schön und gut organisiert, war wirklich ein Erlebnis wert. Die Blue Cave war ein großes Highlight, vis ist auch eine sehr schöne Altstadt Insel mit kleinen Gassen und Katzen. Die Bootsfahrt war auch ganz aufregend und toll.

We went on the 5 Islands, Blue Cave and Blue Lagoon tour yesterday. I would recommend but not for anyone with back conditions. Positives Our host, Emma, was excellent—friendly, informative, and engaging throughout the trip. The company kept us well informed, including updating us when the tour had to be postponed due to the weather. The pick-up location was easy to find thanks to the clear instructions provided. The locations we visited were all worth seeing, and Emma gave helpful information and recommendations on what to do, see, and eat at each stop. I would recommend bringing your own snorkelling equipment if possible. Equipment is provided, but the quality isn't the best. Negatives There were strong northerly winds creating large waves. While I understand the weather is beyond anyone's control, the skipper (a young lad, around 20 years old) did not appear to have the experience or training to handle those conditions effectively. Instead of navigating the waves at an angle and adjusting speed, he repeatedly powered straight through them, causing the boat's hull to slam heavily into the troughs. The impacts were extremely harsh. Two passengers were thrown from their seats on the outward journey, and on one of the return legs the skipper appeared to be racing another company boat, making the ride even more uncomfortable. By the end of the trip, many of us felt sick, bruised, and sore. The weather was challenging, but a more experienced skipper would likely have been able to provide a much smoother and safer ride.

We had an amazing boat trip today! The tour was perfectly organized, with excellent time management that allowed us to enjoy every stop without feeling rushed. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating information throughout the journey. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun, with amazing music that made the whole experience even better. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Split! 🚤☀️🎶

The boat assistents were sooo kind and nice , they explain important details in every island and let us have a very fun time with them , also the last 20 min it was crazy because we were bumping a lot with the boat .

Our skipper Antonio and host Linda were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and well organized. The locations they chose for swimming were beautiful and very safe. I would highly recommend this experience.

What to bring

Carry cash for the Blue Cave entrance fee, as card payments are generally not accepted.

Bring swimwear and water shoes if you plan to swim or snorkel at designated stops.

Pack essentials like sunscreen, a hat, and drinking water to stay protected and hydrated.

A light jacket is recommended, as it can get breezy during the boat ride.

Accessibility

This experience is not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with limited mobility.

It is also not recommended for pregnant travelers, individuals with back issues, or young children under 5 years old.

What’s not allowed

Swimming inside the Blue Cave is not permitted; however, swimming is allowed at nearby locations such as Stiniva Bay and Budikovac Blue Lagoon.

Flash photography is prohibited inside the cave to avoid disturbing marine life.

Additional information

The tour departs at 8am from Split’s Riva promenade; please arrive by 7:45am for check-in.

You can meet the team at the Brass Gate of Diocletian’s Palace (Booking Stand 16) or opt for pickup from Marulićeva 4.

Blue Cave entrance fees range from €12 to €24 depending on the season and must be paid in cash on-site.

The cave’s signature blue glow is most vivid around midday, making early departures ideal.

Tours are weather-dependent; in case of unfavorable sea conditions, delays, rescheduling, or full refunds may apply.

Boat transfers are included; if you are prone to seasickness, it’s advisable to take precautions as the ride can be choppy.
