We are from South Africa, over 50 and first-time travellers, and honestly felt a bit overwhelmed and unsure how everything works in Dubai. While standing in the long line to buy tickets at Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, I suggested to my husband that we skip the queue and try booking online. Being born BC (before computers), technology doesn’t come easily to us, but we took a leap of faith, downloaded the Headout app, booked our tickets, skipped the queue, and saved a whopping 100 dirhams! We were really impressed with Headout and the app is now permanently on my phone. We’ll definitely be using it again in the future, even back home in South Africa when we travel. Just wish we had known about it earlier in our trip to Dubai, as we could have saved quite a bit on other activities too.

Amazing water park in Dubai with exciting rides, clean facilities, and a fun atmosphere. There are attractions for all ages, from extreme slides to relaxing pools. Friendly staff, good organization, and high safety standards made the visit enjoyable and stress free. A perfect place to cool off, have fun, and spend an unforgettable day with family or friends.

“I had a very pleasant experience at Atlantis. The children went on the slides, while the parents relaxed on the beach. Very crowded at each slide. Without fast access, the waiting time would have been over 30 minutes, which is quite unpleasant

Visit the Dubai Aquarium, home to several sharks and sawfish and marvel at the 48-meter-long tunnel that gives you 270-degree views of the aquarium.

Check out the Underwater Zoo on level 2 where you can see divers feeding sharks and the Penguin Cove, home to 16 cute Gentoo penguins.

Later, gather up all your energy to try out all the thrilling rides on the 17 hectares of Aquaventure Waterpark.

A great opportunity to spend some time with adorable dolphins at Dolphin Bay.

Fun fact: Aquaventure Waterpark features the world’s largest waterslide - The Aquaconda.

Le parc est incroyable, immense, avec des toboggans super fun, en toute sécurité et une grande propreté. Evidemment il y a du monde et donc des files d'attente ...mais ça vaut le coup !

You can slide down the 90-foot Leap of Faith at the Tower of Neptune into a shark lagoon or spiral down the Aquaconda. If you wish to relax and take a break, you can take a raft and cruise through the Shark Tunnel or the lazy river. Aquaventure Waterpark

Aquaventure Waterpark attractions are not suitable for expecting mothers, people with reduced mobility, or with neck, back, joint, or heart problems.

What's not allowed

Aquaventure Waterpark

Regular nappies/diapers are not allowed in any pool or attraction. Swim nappies/diapers are available in all gift shops.

You cannot bring food, beverages, glassware, or alcohol into Aquaventure Waterpark.

People with injuries (casts, bandages, etc) and contagious diseases are not permitted at the attractions.

Safety is a priority so waterpark rides are restricted for people under the weight of 50 kg and over 135kg. This does not apply to the children's park.

Abayas, sarees, long shirts or pants, undergarments, street clothes, cotton clothes, and see-through items cannot be worn in the water or on the rides.

Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo

Photography and videography are permitted. However, specific exhibits do not allow flash photography for the safety of the animals.

The average time spent at the Aquarium tunnel (Level 0) is 15 - 30 min. The Underwater Zoo (Level 2) takes about 45 min - 1.5 hrs. The Glass Bottom Boat ride lasts approximately 15 to 20 min.

Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult above 15 years at all times.
