We are from South Africa, over 50 and first-time travellers, and honestly felt a bit overwhelmed and unsure how everything works in Dubai. While standing in the long line to buy tickets at Atlantis Aquaventure Waterpark, I suggested to my husband that we skip the queue and try booking online. Being born BC (before computers), technology doesn’t come easily to us, but we took a leap of faith, downloaded the Headout app, booked our tickets, skipped the queue, and saved a whopping 100 dirhams! We were really impressed with Headout and the app is now permanently on my phone. We’ll definitely be using it again in the future, even back home in South Africa when we travel. Just wish we had known about it earlier in our trip to Dubai, as we could have saved quite a bit on other activities too.

Посетили смотровую площадку Бурдж-Халифа в январе 2026 года. Билеты покупала через Headout. Сайт продуман и удобен в пользовании. Интересные подборки экскурсий. После каждой покупки билета, давалась дополнительно скидка на следующую покупку. Это привлекательно. Само посещение Бурдж-Халифа прошло замечательно. Сотрудники максимально помогают посетителям и упорядочивают очередя. Готовтесь к очередям, без них никак. Желающих подняться на 124,125 этажи очень много. Виды сверху открываются прекрасные. Сразу видно, что город разростается быстрыми темпами и то ,что я увидела сейчас, через пару лет будет совсем другая картинка. Потому нельзя сказать, что один раз поднялся и в следующие посещения Дубаи эта достопримечательность станет неактуальной. Интересно и красиво здесь будет всегда!

I have tried many different apps for booking activities and experiences, but most of them were confusing or didn’t work as smoothly as expected. It didn’t feel very special to me. At the end of the day, you’re inside a very tall building looking at the city from above. I booked the sunrise slot for Floors 124 and 125, but it didn’t feel any different or extraordinary. Overall, it felt like a waste of money. They do provide a complimentary drink (coffee, tea, or a carbonated soft drink) along with a donut. The coffee and donut were actually very good. The entry is through Dubai Mall. The sunrise slot starts at 5:00 AM, but the actual sunrise was closer to 7:00 AM. At 5:00 AM, the crowd is very low, so you can enjoy a nice view of the city lights at night. As the day begins, the crowd increases significantly. If you’re going for sunrise, you need to go early and secure a good spot. Otherwise, it becomes very crowded, and you may not even get a clear view through the glass — especially at the popular viewpoints. Avoid the extreme north and south ends; the middle section offers a better sunrise view. You can also watch from the stairs leading to Floor 125. In my opinion, the view from Floor 124 is better than Floor 125.

Exceptional Last-Minute Booking for Burj Khalifa! I decided on a whim to visit the Burj Khalifa and needed last-minute tickets for the 124th and 125th floors (At The Top). I used Headout to book them, and I am so glad I did! The entire ticket-buying process was incredibly fast, smooth, and entirely seamless. The desert safari driver was rude at first and took us to the quad bike location. All these quad activities are paid which is not clearly mentioned anywhere while booking. We made the booking thinking it's optional for us to do it, not pay for it additionally. Secondly Burj Khalifa queues took hours so you can't actually arrive at any one right time as they just put everyone in the same queue regardless of your time slots.

Visit both the Burj Khalifa, as well as Aquaventure Waterpark on the same day, thanks to this super-saver combo ticket!

What's not allowed

Aquaventure Waterpark

Diving, shoes, aqua socks with thick and/or rubber solesselfie sticks, glassware, alcohol, outside food, beverages, handheld Go Pro, and other action cameras are not allowed inside the premises.

Regular nappies/diapers are not allowed inside the pool. However, guests can purchase swim nappies or diapers in the gift shops available on the premises.

Strict dress code: abayas, sarees, cotton tops/bottoms, jeans, long pants, undergarments, street clothing and sheer/see-through items or other material deemed inappropriate are not allowed in this experience. However, one-piece/two-piece swimsuit, speedo, rash guard, board shorts and burkini are allowed on this experience.

Safety is a priority. So, Trident Tower, Tower of Neptune, and Poseidon’s Revenge and Slytherin are restricted for guests under the height of 1.2 m, whereas the Zoomerango and Aquaconda are restricted for guests under 1.07 metres.

Lifejackets are available at different locations around the park.

Swimmers under 1.2 metres and inexperienced swimmers are required to wear life jackets.

Guests are recommended to remove their eyeglasses and jewellery before riding and store them in the lockers in the park.
