The pyramids were worthwhile to see. We enjoyed the visit to Teotihuacán and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City. The site itself is not too far outside of the CDMX. We opted to drive which I only recommend for experienced drivers as the roads and driving culture are much different than that of the USA or Europe.

Excellent Museum. Your was great. I would suggest seeing only two of the galleries in 2 1/2 hours and not three galleries. We were rushed thru the third one a waste of time. Our tour guide was excelkent

Museum of Anthropology Getting started Present your skip-the-line ticket (sent via email or WhatsApp before your visit) at the designated fast-track entrance to bypass the regular queue. Note that this combo does not include your final entry ticket at booking — it will be delivered to you separately ahead of your visit. What to expect The National Museum of Anthropology is Mexico's most visited museum and home to the largest collection of ancient Mesoamerican artifacts in the world — spanning Aztec, Maya, Olmec, Zapotec, and Teotihuacán cultures under one roof.

The Mexica Hall houses the Aztec Sun Stone — one of the most recognized artifacts in the world.

Galleries cover over 3,000 years of pre-Columbian civilization, with objects ranging from ceremonial masks to monumental sculptures.

Teotihuacán Getting started Present your skip-the-line ticket at the site entrance — you'll be through the gate in under 2 minutes. The archaeological zone has multiple gates; check your ticket for the designated entry point. What to expect Teotihuacán was once the largest city in pre-Columbian America, and today it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site defined by three of the most monumental structures in the ancient world.

Walk the Avenue of the Dead — the 2-km ceremonial boulevard that formed the spine of the ancient city.

Stand at the base of the Pyramid of the Sun, the third-largest pyramid in the world and the centerpiece of the site.

Explore the Pyramid of the Moon at the northern end of the avenue, with views across the entire ancient city from the top platforms.

Visit the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, covered in carved feathered serpent heads and some of the most detailed stonework on the site.

Teotihuacán involves extensive walking on uneven, unpaved terrain — not suitable for wheelchair users or those with significant mobility restrictions.

The Museum of Anthropology is wheelchair accessible.
