We had Brandon as our guide he was Great very knowledgeable. Was the best guide you could ask for. He pointed out some great things even took some pictures for us. I would suggest this tour for anyone. GREAT JOB

We had a great experience.. our guide taught me a thing or two about photos and I'm a photographer. lol Was a bit nervous about monsoons but they made us feel safe and they have it covered. . Thanks you

I visited in late August. Although there were occasional rain showers, the canyon itself was not muddy and was easy to walk through. Our guide was a young member of the Navajo Nation. Despite the limited time, he was very kind and helpful. He took photos for us and explained the history and culture of the Navajo people. There are some tricks to the camera settings needed to capture those iconic Antelope Canyon photos, so don’t hesitate to ask your guide for help. They will be happy to show you the right settings. The weather wasn’t ideal during our visit, but overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable tour.

We so enjoyed all of the tour. Our guide was completely wonderful and caring. She took amazing photos of us at very locations that we will enjoy for years to come. Our only suggestion-make it mandatory for inviduals with mobility issues to go back through the canyon to the vans. We had issues with the route up hill. We were offered the option to go back through the canyon and decided to try the regular path. Our guide had to come up the hill in the van to get us. Others had to wait. Learned a valuable lesson. Many thanks to Antelope Adventure for their kindness and expertise.

Fun fact: The canyon is known as "Tsé bighánílíní" in Navajo, which translates to "the place where water runs through rocks", which is how the slot canyons are formed.

First of all this was a bucket list item and it did not disappoint. Our group age was 9 to 88. Our guide Adelbert was phenomenal, ahéhee'. It is a serene site and a priviledge to be able to visit the Navajo Nation and learn its history.

L'Upper Antelope Canyon è una meraviglia, ma il costo del tour è eccessivo. Abbiamo pagato una cifra altissima per stare dentro al canyon solo 20 minuti reali oltre al tragitto in fuoristrada. Inoltre, visto il forte caldo, non è stato possibile fare il percorso esterno, riducendo ulteriormente l'esperienza. La guida non fa una vera visita, ti accompagna solo per farti la foto cercando la luce migliore.

Our tour guide, Loretta, was lovely. We did the upper antelope tour and besides the natural wonder being absolutely breathtaking, Loretta made it extra special explaining each point along the way, all the best photos to take, and was kind enough to snap some photos of my mother and I. We would highly recommend.

What's not allowed

Please refrain from touching the canyon walls, as they are fragile, and it can accelerate the sandstone erosion process.

Keep in mind that bags, tripods, monopods, selfie sticks, and pets are not allowed on the tour, so pack light!

Video recording and flash photography are prohibited, but feel free to take photos.

Hiking sticks, canes, or walkers are not allowed inside the canyons.

Accessibility

Upper Antelope Canyon is on relatively flat terrain, but keep in mind that the exit part of the tour involves stairs.

This experience is not recommended for pregnant individuals or anyone who may struggle physically to complete the hike.

Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to participate in the tour.

The tour is not wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Additional information

All tours are based on Mountain Standard Time, which is the same all year round (same as Phoenix, AZ, and Page, AZ).

It is recommended to wear good sneakers for optimal comfort during your experience.

Offer a $3-$5 per person tip to your Navajo guide as gratuities. Keep extra cash with you for the same.

Arrive at your tour location at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

There are no restrooms within the canyons.
