Werkte prima, we konden zo doorlopen! Prima geregeld, alleen een beetje jammer dat de student optie hier niet bijstond. Via de normale site hadden we hierdoor 3 euro kunnen besparen

  • Can you wrap your mind around it? The Art of the Brick exhibition has 100 unique works of art, built with over a million LEGO® bricks! Temporarily on view in Amsterdam's De Kalverpassage, the exhibition, by by the American artist Nathan Sawaya, has something on offer for people of all ages. Stand back and gasp as you see a six-meter-long T-Rex skeleton made out of over 80,000 bricks. As if that isn't cool enough, you'll also get to see world-famous artworks by Da Vinci, Vermeer, and Rembrandt in 2D and 3D, all made from LEGO® bricks! Nathan Sawaya is well known for his performance as an artist-in-residence and consulting producer of the hugely popular TV show, LegoMasters USA.

The exhibition also includes the beautiful In Pieces gallery. It is a collaboration between LEGO® artist Nathan Sawaya and award-winning photographer Dean West. West is best known for his highly staged photographs that take everyday events beyond natural reality. Make sure to download the free bilingual audio guide (available in English and Dutch) before or during your visit. P.S.: The English audio guide is extra special because it is narrated by Nathan Sawaya herself!
