From Naples: Pompeii & Vesuvius Guided Tour with Transfers

La facilité de réservation puis d'accompagnement pour faciliter toutes les étapes, le fait d'être porté par le vent grâce à notre guide Arianna, drôle, gentille et intéressante, nous a permis de visiter deux lieux des plus emblématiques sans se soucier de quoi que ce soit. Le prix vaut très largement l'expérience et je ne peux que conseiller de le vivre !

Mt. Vesuv is such a dominant feature that a peek down into the seemingly dormant (but smoky) crater and a stunning view from the rim is a must. Even on a calm and sunny day it can get very WINDY so bring a sweater, robust shoes (hike boots are nice, but not a necessity) and a windbreaker. Coffee and snacks are available several places en route. You have two hrs to get up to the crater rim which is fine for most people. The audio guide consists of rather short pieces of info and it is not a must. The view over Bay of Napoli and it's islands is stunning! Down in Pompeii you have roughly one hour for lunch. Plenty of eateries, but expensive, so consider buying lunch in Napoli. A very knowledgeable guide led us around for more than two hours. We missed a bit time on our own, but that could probably have been arranged. The Italian accent of our guide took some time getting used to, but consider dropping the headphones and just stay close to the guide. Be prepared for a long ride back to central Napoli in the rush hour. All in all a beautiful and interesting tour :-)

The guide (Davide) was clear and enthusiastic. All of the day was well planned and well timed. Communication was fantastic. The guide in Pompei was very knowledgeable and kept us moving showing us such a lot. Well worth doing it! Loved the little stop on the way upto Vesuvius for buffalo milk limencello!
