Motiongate was a really fun theme park overall and definitely worth the visit. The thing that stood out most was how well the park mixes family-friendly attractions with a few thrill rides—not too scary, but exciting enough to keep things interesting. The theming around the different movie studios is done really well. Walking around the Lionsgate and DreamWorks areas actually feels like being on a movie set. The rides aren’t extreme like big roller-coaster parks, but they’re perfect if you enjoy immersive rides, shows, and storytelling. The Madagascar and Shrek sections were especially good

The immersive experience in motion gate is one of the best things at the park. It takes you to all the different themed areas very well. The park is never too busy and rides hardly ever exceed waits longer than 45 mins. (The longest wait is for the rides in lionsgate normally)

We enjoyed today at Motiongate with our family, we started at Dreamworks. The children really enjoyed the rides and entertainment in the different halls of Shrek, How 2 train your dragon, Madagascar and Kung fu Panda. After that we went outside at The Smurf, Hotel Transilvania and also finished at the last part How u see me. The John Wick ride was closed. It was not busy and we went in most of the rides. Thank u for the incredible and beautifull moment and park. The staff was friendly and we spend the whole day here. Hope 2 see u next time. absolutely incredible!! my lil sis and i had so much fun! I have some top tips for future guests! 1. If you're going off peak, don't get a wild pass. There's no need to have a skip queues option bc theyre pretty non-existent (we went on a Monday, longest we waited was 20 mins). 2. Don't need to spend the whole day there - we got there at about 2pm, ik what you might be thinking, but the park wasn't full and the rides are close enough to eachother that we did a few twice! After that you kinda wna just lounge. the last hour is beautiful w sunset views of the burj!! (attached) 3. Eat before you go - food inside can run you about 100aed per person - but a pizza is like 60aed - we had lunch before going, highly recommend doing that. They scan bags upon entry, so depends on if you wna risk it for a biscuit. 4. Don't recommend wearing swimming shoes on the rides - I mean unless they're super tight. We were zooming past swimming shoes when on rides & couldn't stop laughing, sorry if that was you. the floor is reasonably clean, & youre always in the water anyway, so just no need i think. 5. loads of sun beds!!! if you want a relaxing day, don't lounge by the pool (it can get loud), head up (literally up the stairs) towards the scarer ride and there are sunbeds that have a beautiful view of the burj and jumeirah beach hotell!! & it's super quiet. & some general notes: - dont worry about leaving your stuff unattended - its dubai. We left ours unattended, and it was untouched all the times we were away. - if you're a woman who's travelling with women, try to go on a women only day - we got quite a few stares both from staff and guests which made us a lil uncomfortable. I even got approached by a guy wanting to get to know me, so please keep your wits about you. (btw no, we weren't in bikini's, sister & i were both wearing swim shirts and shorts). - the lazy river, or whatever it's called, is see thru btw. so if you're wearing a bikini, ppl will see that from a distance & above, unless that's what you want then its just an fyi. - water isnt heated, except the wave pool. all in all, had an amazing time! all the rides are amazing!! wild wadi WILL see us again InShaAllah!!

What to bring

Wild Wadi Water Park

Bring a valid ID for your visit. If you are booking the UAE resident pass, your Emirates ID is mandatory for entry.

What's not allowed

Some rides are restricted for guests shorter than 1.1m.

Inappropriate swimwear includes (but not restricted to): Underwear, cotton clothes, especially long, flowing garments, transparent bathing suits, street clothes, shorts with protruding designs such as rivets or other accessories on the back, long necklaces and chains, swimsuits with metal details such as buttons, zippers, buckles or snaps that could be abrasive to other swimmers and/or water slides, any clothing or accessory deemed potentially damaging to water slides, regular diapers/nappies.

Wearing spectacles (sunglasses, eyeglasses, etc.) while riding any of the rides is not permitted for safety purposes. Lanyards are available to purchase on-site.

For the health and safety of all guests, please do not swim if you or anyone in your family has diarrhea, especially babies and toddlers in diapers.

For hygiene, infants and toddlers must wear swim diapers in the water; regular diapers are not permitted. Swim diapers are available for purchase at our retail outlets. Please use the changing facilities in the men's and women's changing rooms, as diaper changes are not allowed poolside.

The following items are prohibited: outside food and beverages; glass items; intoxication; queue jumping; running and diving; devices that contain exposed needles that do not retract into the device, or with other sharp points or edges.

Accessibility

Wild Wadi Water Park

Some water rides are active, participatory activities and carry a risk of injury. For your safety, do not use these attractions if you are pregnant, have medical restrictions on physical activity, are overweight for your body type, or are under a doctor's care.

This experience is not recommended for guests with underlying medical conditions, respiratory illnesses, or chronic diseases.

Before riding, please assess your own limitations to ensure safe participation, and always be aware of the water depth in all pools.

MOTIONGATE

Most rides require riders to be above 90cm (3ft). Thrill rides often have a higher minimum height, like 125cm (4ft 1in) or 130cm (4ft 3in). Pregnant women, people with certain medical conditions, or those with back or neck problems may be advised to avoid specific rides.

On arrival at Dubai Parks and Resorts make your way through Riverland, the dining and entertainment district that connects our theme parks to each other and head to the entrance of MOTIONGATE™ Dubai to start your day. When you arrive at the park, we recommend that you pick up a map and check the daily entertainment schedule posted in the park to plan out your day and make the most of your visit. All of the daytime live entertainment, rides, and attractions in the park are included in the price of your ticket, so you are free to explore the park at your leisure with unlimited access to all of the rides on the day of your visit.

Select the right profile type for your group during checkout. Warning: Ensure that you are carrying a valid ID of the members in your group if you select any reduced price tickets during checkout.

Dragon Flame Grill Restaurant will be closed until further notice.

All attractions will close 30 minutes prior to the park's closing time.

Shuttle service available exclusively for Dubai Parks and Resorts in Dubai.

Wild Wadi Water Park

Guests may bring a 1-liter water bottle per person into the park.

Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 and above at all times. Children aged 14 and over can enter the park alone, but cannot be the accompanying guardian for younger children.

For your comfort, the water in Breaker's Bay (wave pool) and Juha's Dhow & Lagoon (children's play structure) is temperature-controlled year-round, staying cool in summer and warm in winter.

Full-body swimsuits and long-sleeved rash vests are acceptable on all rides.

For hygiene, please don't spit in the water and shower before using the slides.

You're welcome to use your GoPro on all rides except Jumeirah Sceirah, provided it has an attached strap.
