The tour itself was great. But the instructions for the start were confusing. It said meet at the welcome desk if the Victoria Coach Station. There is no welcome desk! It said it was by gate 1. But there was no desk at all. We got confused and waited at a labelled gate, nearly missed our tour. We apparently had to approach someone working at Gate 1. Not exactly a desk.

My lovely guide was very knowledgeable and shared with us many details as soon as the tour started in London. The whole experience was wonderful, there was enough time to see both Stonehenge and walk around Bath.

What’s not allowed

You will not be allowed to enter the Stonehenge Circle itself. This is due to the restoration attempts and the relative instability of the structure. Your Stonehenge tickets allow you to access about 10 meters of the monument.

This experience is partially wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

This tour runs daily from April to October and only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from November to March.

English Heritage and National Trust England members can enjoy free admission to Stonehenge.
