The lead actor/singer was just phenomenal! She sounded exactly like Tina Turner! In fact the whole cast was fantastic. I loved hearing Tina's music all over again, having grown up with it. I listen to my original Tina & Ike album on vinyl all the time. loved the humour injected into it, making a dark story a lot lighter. Well written, well cast and an amazing way to spend my birthday 💖💖💖

Check in was SMOOTH! The seats easy to find! The staff was SUPER HELPFUL from front door men to the wait staff. The crowd was generally kind to each other, standing up and oetting others into the seats with a smile each time. The musical itself was AMAZING!!! The cast....BRILLIANT! I had the loveliest white couple behind me who came from Oxford and we all agreed it was money well spent! Absolutely BRILLIANT experience!

We often go to London for culture, which in most cases is of a much higher quality than, for example, Broadway in NY. It's just my point of view, I'm not forcing it on anyone. If you are really expecting a quality performance, where the main actress gives her soul, passion, and energy to the character, for which many a big power plant would be grateful... visit TINA. Karis Anderson is incredible. The show as a whole, and her performance, made us go to the show twice in a row. The last performance is scheduled for September 13... You really don't want to miss it. In my 30 years in show business, I've never seen anything this spectacular on the musical stage. Thank you for the experience to everyone involved in this amazing performance, you guys are great!

This project has a large amount of involvement from Tina Turner herself, who at a recent event said that the project brought her out of retirement. The musical was made with her blessing and features many of her best songs. The show is a must-watch for anyone familiar with the book written by Katori Hall and of course, Tina Tuner’s music because it highlights the often-overlooked personal struggles of the artist behind the music.

The Story

The story follows the life of Tina Turner, right from her beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, all the way to her relationship with Ike Turner and eventual comeback in her 40s. The musical shows us Tina's tryst with abuse and horror from her husband which finally ended in a divorce, after which she struggled to make it in the industry. The musical highlights her ability to overcome obstacles as she went on to become a solo rock 'n’ roll star.
