Hop on the Amsterdam Light Festival canal cruise to light up your winter nights. Sail down unobstructed canals and observe the historic center turning into a vibrant open-air gallery filled with creative light installations from around the world. This year’s “World of Rituals” theme features 27 works reflecting unique stories of Amsterdam’s past and future. There will be so much to keep your eyes busy, from the city’s iconic bridges glowing with light to projections on canal-side landmarks.
Hop on board, tune into an audio guide in English or Dutch, and observe the many displays through wide panoramic windows. You won’t have to worry about the cold getting to you as the boats are equipped with heating to keep you toasty warm during the 6.5-kilometre journey.
