Getting started

Arrive at 701 D Street NW, Washington DC, 20004, where your guide will greet you and provide your electric bike, helmet, and illustrated map. After a quick safety briefing and helmet fitting, your group sets off to explore the city’s iconic sights as dusk settles in.

National Mall and Tidal Basin

This route covers the full length of the National Mall and circles the Tidal Basin, offering a close look at the capital’s most significant landmarks. Your licensed guide shares insights and stories at each stop, with time for photos at both famous and lesser-known sites.

What to bring

This is an evening tour, bring a light jacket or dress in layers for when the temperature cools down.

What’s not allowed

Big bags, suitcases, or anything bulky won’t work on this ride.

Pets need to sit this one out.

Alcohol or drugs aren’t allowed. Anyone under the influence won’t be able to join the tour.

Accessibility

You should feel comfortable riding a bike, as the tour is designed for guests with basic cycling skills.

If you have any special requirements, just let the team know in advance so they can help accommodate you.

Additional information

Plan to arrive about 15 mins early so you’ll have plenty of time to get set up with your bike, helmet, and lights.

Each tour is conducted with a maximum of 15 participants making it a more intimate experience.

You can request kids’ attachments like double trailers or tag-along bikes ahead of your tour. Little riders need to be at least 12 months old and under 4 feet tall to join safely.

Riders under 18 can’t get a bike on their own, they’ll need an adult (18 years or older) with them to pick it up.

For everyone’s safety, all riders are required to wear the helmets provided and keep them on for the entire tour.
