Drive up the Monchique Mountain, Caldas de Monchique and Fóia
Get picked up from your hotel and start your day-long guided trip. Travel to the charming town of Silves, where you can visit the impressive cathedral (entrance fees extra) and stroll through the narrow streets and alleys. From there, climb uphill into Monchique Mountain to the lovely little spa village of Caldas de Monchique, known for its medicinal springs. Follow a winding road to reach the highest point in the Algarve - Fóia - which stands at an impressive 902 m above sea level. Enjoy the breathtaking views from here and breathe in the incredibly pure air.
Enjoy lunch at the quaint village of Marmelete
After taking in the stunning vistas, come back downhill, crossing the countryside and stopping in the quaint village of Marmelete, where you will get to enjoy a delicious lunch in one of the local restaurants. After the meal, head towards Costa Vicentina to see magnificent blue beaches. Walk around, take pictures, relax, and enjoy the views.
See the end of the world
Next, continue the trip to the end of the world, Cape St. Vincent, the southwestern point of Europe. Feel the wildness of the place as you visit the lighthouse perched on the cliffs, one of the most important in Europe due to its strategic position.
