We were slightly late so did not have to queue - a bonus as we had queued for another Musee earlier in the pouring rain. Perhaps shelter over the queueing area for those waiting. Louvre was busy and layout quite confusing. Lots of stairs and long walks. However, we saw some Of the most fantastic and notable art works. Toilets were not in a good state. Some Out of order, long queues and actual facilities not very clean. The shopping mall under the Louvre was a surprise and had a good range of shops, restaurants, etc.

I have seen the SLAVE for many times, but never been before looking at the famous sculpture so carefully. With the thickened back, as if he is carrying a large heavy turtle's shell, with the arms and hands bond tightly to his body, he nearly has no way to strugle, but bearing all the burden loaded on his body and his life. However strong enough are the musle and bones of his leges, there is no possiblity of freedom to look forword to, under the unbearable weight on him.

Commande 2h avant alors qu il n y avait aucune dispo ailleurs , j avoue avoir eu un doute lorsque j ai reçu le mail m indiquant que j aurais une réponse du prestataires dans les 12 heures ! puis finalement je reçois les billets 30 min après mais avec indiquation expo privée , je pensais donc a l arnaque ! et pas du tout du tout les billets étaient valables sur tout , ok il y a une commission mais SUPER et MERCi

I was able to get immediate access without having to join a huge queue. The place is amazing. I spent 6 hours walking all the galleries and exhibition space to make sure I saw as much as possible. Love the free lockers to leave your coat and scarf! Cafe was fab. Recommend you book in advance to make the most of it!
