Finally enter the Village Museum (Muzeul Național al Satului Dimitrie Gusti). A museum best described as a time portal, go back to the authentic traditional Romanian villages from centuries ago as you step into this magnificent landmark. It is one of the first open-air ethnographic museums in the world, and one of Romania’s most visited cultural attractions, thanks to its ever-unique architectural style. Peruse over 360 monuments with 60,000 objects, each dripping in traditional Romanian charm.
