Visiting Australia's oldest surviving German settlement
As you leave Barossa, drive past the Herbig Family Tree, where you'll get to know the thrilling story of the Herbig family and the 500-year-old tree. Enjoy your drive through the picture-perfect Adelaide Hills as you move towards Hahndorf. A visit to this area is incomplete without a stop at the Beerenberg Farm Shop, where you can savor and purchase their famous strawberry jam as well as other produce. Finally, you'll reach Hahndorf, the oldest German settlement in Australia.
