Aerial Tours in Catania

Booked this for my partner’s birthday and it was a solid pick. The 4x4 bus ride up was a wild start—my partner loved it, I was a little nervous (heights aren’t my fav). Once we started hiking, though, it was all good vibes. Learned a lot about lava flows and geology. Would recommend, just wish the weather was a bit clearer.

Insanely windy at the top! Our hats almost flew away lol. The guide lent us extra jackets, which was a life saver. Hike itself was moderate, not as hard as I thought. The views of the crater and the steam vents are something I’ll never forget. There were a LOT of people, tho, so sometimes it felt like a parade.

Our flight was delayed due to wind, but staff kept us comfortable with snacks and coffee. Once up, the views were stunning. Would recommend checking the weather before booking if you can.

Honestly? Bucket list stuff. Never thought I’d see a volcano from a helicopter. Felt totally safe the whole time. Thanks to the crew for making it easy for us.
