Well, what a wild night! Wasn’t sure we’d get lucky with the lights, but our guide (Nina? She’s a LEGEND) kept us pumped. It was freezing but they brought blankets for us and hot drinks. My partner and I mostly just stared up with our jaws open. Lights started out faint, then suddenly BOOM – green all over. Got some blurry pics (tripod would’ve helped, oops). Still, can’t stop talking about it. If you get Nina, say hi from us!

Went with my sis and her bf. Weather was iffy, and we almost got canceled but they switched us to the next night. Super grateful for that! Lights were faint at first but then the sky just lit up. Our guide Felix was hilarious and knew a ton about stars too, not just the aurora. I recommend being patient – it’s a waiting game, but so worth it.

Had the most magical night. My friend and I were so worried about missing the lights, but the team checked the forecast like a hundred times and found the perfect window. Lights were BRIGHT and moving. Couldn’t get enough. Only downside: can’t really take indoor pics on the bus (window glare), so bundle up and go outside!

Ok, so honestly, the lights were kind of weak the night we went. Not the tour’s fault, but still a bit of a letdown. Our guide tried hard to make it fun. The bus was warm and comfy, at least, and they gave us updates on the weather. Wish we’d seen the EPIC aurora like in the pics, but guess that’s nature for you.

Did the tour solo because my friends chickened out on the cold – but sooo worth it. There was a bit of a wait (almost an hour in the bus, ngl), but the guides kept spirits up. Once we got out, saw the lights for the first time and honestly teared up a little. The hot chocolate helped too. Bring extra socks!
