Biglietti per il Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary

A me e a mia moglie è piaciuto molto visitare la Tasmania e questo santuario della fauna selvatica! Innanzitutto, le persone e il personale sono stati davvero gentili e accoglienti e hanno creato grandi aspettative su tutto ciò che il prezzo d'ingresso include. Inoltre, non ci siamo resi conto di quanti canguri ci siano nella proprietà o di quanta interazione avremmo avuto con loro, ma siamo rimasti a bocca aperta! Per noi è stato molto meglio del Taronga Zoo di Sydney. Oltre a tutto questo, sono l'unico santuario della fauna selvatica di Hobart e l'anno scorso hanno salvato oltre 17.000 animali selvatici! (Offrono tour giornalieri gratuiti in cui si può passeggiare con un membro del personale esperto e conoscere i diavoli del Tassie (ovviamente), i vombati (che sono davvero adorabili), le echidne (che assomigliano a piccoli porcospini) e altri animali locali. Offrono anche una piccola area snack per il pranzo. Un posto davvero importante! Ci torneremo sicuramente se torneremo a Hobart! Se vi piace conoscere gli animali e vedere da vicino canguri, vombati e diavoli, andateci! A proposito, per chiunque stia pensando a come arrivarci senza prenotare un tour o una navetta privata, abbiamo preso un Uber dalla zona di Cambridge/aeroporto per circa 58 dollari australiani a tratta e che includeva fino a 4 passeggeri. Abbiamo avuto qualche problema a prendere un Uber dal Santuario, ma da lì abbiamo camminato fino alla vicina città di Brighton (che dista circa 20-30 minuti a piedi) e da lì siamo riusciti a ordinare un Uber per tornare a Cambridge.

È possibile toccare e conoscere la storia di questi bellissimi animali selvatici, dare da mangiare ai canguri è stata un'esperienza piacevole.

Amazing care shown for the animals and very knowledgeable keepers. Great to know your entrance fee goes to supporting rescue services.

The kids loved feeding the kangaroos and the guided tour was great to learn about the injured animal they housed before they are sent back in the wild.

It was hard to find the wombats because the long pen with Winnie wasn't labelled and it didn't come out until we were just about to give up looking for it and we heard there was another wombat further down somewhere but didn't see any signage down near the bootom of the larger kangaroo area

My husband & I took our 5yo nephew to Bonorong for his birthday. We live near Hobart but hadn't been there in a couple of years & were pleasantly surprised to see how much they've expanded the sanctuary. Some of the paths on outer areas are quite uneven & my nephew tripped & nearly fell (my husband caught him), so tread carefully! Love the new kangaroo enclosure, as well. We had to dodge several muddy patches to get to them, but it was worth it. I was also quite happy to see that their (tiny yet very capable) cafe stand is now 100% plant-based. Their hot chips were great & the 'lam' korma was delicious! Plus, tasty coffee. We all had a wonderful, leisurely time, all the animals look happy & well cared for, & I highly recommend a visit to everyone!

We arrived a bit early and they welcomed us in with big smiles and so much info :) kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals and birds, their guided tour is a must to attend (included in the ticket price)

The kangaroo feeding was not ip to the mark as expected as the place was already full with food.

The best animal sanctuary I've ever visited. Amazing food too!! Worth every penny, I'll definitely be back to see the beautiful Devils and all their friends :)

An amazing facility! So good to see wildlife cared for and nurtured in a wonderful atmosphere. The tour was also very informative.
