Start your 90-minute Pilsner Urquell experience at the interactive exhibition in Prague's Wenceslas Square. Explore the history of the world's first golden lager through cutting-edge technology and multi-sensory experiences. Learn the history of beer, from ancient gods to the accidental development of Pilsner-style beer. Try handling the hops and grains used to make beer and learn about the process.
Interactive Exhibits and Hands-On Tapping Academy
Put on your headphones for an audio guide in multiple languages. It automatically plays as you move through the exhibit. Start from the street level, with the pub and beer garden called Výčepu Zvonu and a two-story entry hall with a large sculpture, Mash-Tun. Next, head to the immersive experience, which covers the next floor with an interactive exhibit showcasing state-of-the-art technology and a 360° interactive game zone. Next, enter the beer hall and tapping academy on the level above. Taste Pilsner Urquell tank beer in the modern beer hall and learn beer tapping at the Tapster Academy. Here, you can learn the art of pouring beer in three traditional ways: hladinka, schnyt, and milk. Do not forget to stop by the gift shop, which offers personalized beer bottles and mugs on your way out.
