I brought my teenage son and his friend to the Lava Show after reading about it online, and honestly, I had NO idea what to expect. It was SO much hotter than I thought it would be! The presenter made all the science stuff super easy to follow (and my son even paid attention, which is a miracle). The best part was when they poured the lava and you could feel the heat hit your face—wild! The host kept things light, even cracked a few silly jokes. We did the behind-the-scenes add-on and got to peek at the furnace and ask more questions. One tip: wear layers because you WILL want to peel them off once the show gets going. Def recommend for families.

Went with my parents and my little brother and we all loved it. The host (can’t remember his name, sorry!) was funny and answered EVERY question, even the weird ones my brother asked. It’s a smaller group so you feel like you’re part of the show. The live lava pour was EPIC! We also got a tiny lava rock to bring home. Would do it again if we come back to Iceland.

Pretty coool experience overall. Not something you do every day! Went with my girlfriend and we both learned a ton about volcanoes (she’s obsessed now). The room gets HOT when the lava’s poured, so don’t overdress. Our guide was knowledgeable but the crowd felt a bit packed in—seats are close together. Still, worth it for seeing real lava up close.

Iceland in December is cold and dark, but the Lava Show totally brightened our day. The heat from the lava is INTENSE—almost too much, but in a good way! My husband and I loved the science bits, and our teen daughter actually said it was 'cool,' which is rare. No photos allowed during the pour, btw. Would recommend!

My partner and I went on a whim and were both blown away (not literally, haha). Watching the lava flow was mesmerizing. Our guide Luis was hilarious and knew tons about Icelandic volcanoes. The Q&A at the end was great too. One thing—don’t sit too close to the front unless you like feeling like you’re in a sauna!

Booked tickets for my family of four. Our youngest (6) was a bit scared of the noise at first but settled in. The guide was patient and explained everything so clearly. We all learned something new. The highlight was definitely the lava flow—it glows orange and throws off SO much heat. Loved it.

Ammira della vera lava fusa riscaldata per raggiungere i 1100°C, per poi essere versata a pochi metri di distanza da te. La lava scorre, ribolle e si raffredda proprio davanti ai tuoi occhi, in un ambiente interno controllato.

Ti aspetta un'esperienza per tutti i sensi. Avverti il calore sulla pelle, mentre senti il crepitio e guardi la lava interagire con l'ambiente circostante, il tutto spiegato dal vivo da esperti maestri della lava.

Questa esperienza vale assolutamente la pena, perché non si tratta di una simulazione e puoi imparare tutto sulle forze vulcaniche dell'Islanda e su come modellano il territorio.

Curiosità: l'Islanda è situata sulla dorsale medio atlantica, dove due placche tettoniche si allontanano l'una dall'altra. Il movimento costante delle placche provoca la frequente attività vulcanica e le colate di lava del Paese.
