The Story
The protagonist, Tony Wendice, is a satiated ex-tennis pro who finds himself in quite the pickle: his wife, Margot Wendice is cheating on him. When Tony finds out about Margot’s affair with screenwriter Max Halliday, his mind turns to the pursuit of killing her, and fashioning “the perfect crime”.
