Important Information

• An additional cost of $150 MXN for companions will be levied if you require transportation and access to the beach club (lounge chairs, showers, lockers, beach access)

• Currently, the facility is NOT accepting US dollars in cash (check-in, restaurant, boutique, and photos). However, they do accept Mexican pesos in cash. If you want to use an international credit or debit card, payments will be done in Mexican or US currency

• The entrance of external food and drinks is not allowed

• At Dolphin Playa in Maroma, groups have a maximum of 20 people for a better experience

• The use of life jackets is mandatory in all aquatic programs

• Children taller than 1.40 m will be able to participate alone in any program when paying the adult rate

• Children with a height of 1.21 m and up to 1.40 m will be able to participate alone in the Encounter program

• Children with a height of 1 m and up to 1.20 m may participate in the Encounter program accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket

• Children shorter than 1 m will be considered infants and will carry out Encounter program activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they adjust their vest)

• For security reasons, the use of underwater cameras is not allowed. However, professional photographs will be available for purchase

• Don't forget to use biodegradable sunscreen to take care of your skin, the environment and marine species

• For safety reasons, women who are 5 months pregnant or less, can only participate in the Dolphin Encounter program accompanied by another adult and after signing the responsibility form

• Women with more than 5 months of pregnancy cannot participate in any of the water activities

• Remember to arrive 30 minutes before your program since you will receive an orientation

• It is recommended that you bring towels, as well as cash for taxis, purchases, meals and other expenses

Getting There

• By Car: Take the Highway 307 (Carretera 307) that goes from north to south along the Mexican Caribbean coast

• While leaving from Cancun, follow the signs to Playa del Carmen and Tulum, Puerto Aventuras is located between Xcaret and Xpu-Ha

• The signs are very clear. Once you get to Puerto Aventuras complex, you will find the signs that will lead you to Dolphin Discovery facilities
