Your Experience
Your Experience
Get an early start on your exclusive tour of the British Museum. With no crowds to come in the way, you will be left in a bubble of your own contemplations. You will be issued a special security passes to enter before the rest of the public, before receiving a brief introduction from your guide. With an infectious energy about, and unparalleled experience to show the guide will reveal the museum in a rare and beautiful light. Unlock the doors to ancient secrets and treasures of age-old Egyptians and the awe-inspiring Rosetta Stone. Rosetta Stone - a cast-away gem that was once a part of a whole slab - played a crucial role in deciphering Egyptian hieroglyphics as we know it today. Learn all this and more as you go along. Just as the public begins to crawl in, you will yet be out of reach touring Ancient Greece to see the famed marbles of Parthenon Marbles and Lely’s Venus. Highlights here include the mummy of a cat and Gebelein Man (aka ‘Ginger’). As you move on to China and Southeast Asia, you’ll come across a gilt-bronze sculpture of Tara. Learn all about the Ming Dynasty and ornate Chinese ceramics before concluding with Hoa Hakananai, a moai from Rapa Nui, all carefully preserved in the British Museum.
