For a 4-hour tour, I didn't realize the first part was a walking tour of Venice. Then we had to meet up with others joining our tour group, which took about a 1/2 hour. So we were really only given a little more than 2 hours for both the Basilica and the Doge's Palace. At the Basilica, I felt like we spent more time waiting in line than actually getting to see the Basilica. Doge's Palace felt rushed, although I appreciate that I could have spent more time there on my own afterward. But after 4-hours of walking around, I was too tired to do so. It was nice that the Doge's Palace was a 2-day ticket that includes the other museums.
