STORY

The movie is set in a world much like ours but inhabited by animals. Buster Moon is a koala who presides over a theater that was once grand, but has now fallen on hard times. He loves his theater too much and will do anything to save it.

But with the theater crumbling, Buster wishes to restore the former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition.
