Learning About Malaysia
On this half-day guided tour through Kuala Lumpur visit Istana Negara – Malaysia’s National Palace and stop by the Petronas Towers – the tallest twin towers in the world. At the National Monument see the 15m high bronze statue dedicated to the 11,000 people who died during WW1. Admire the traditional Minangkabau-style roof and 2 large murals of Italian glass mosaic at the National Museum.
Visit the National Mosque
See Masjid Negara, also known as the National Mosque before you stop at the Sultan Abdul Samad Building where you can see the copper dome and a 41m-high clock tower. Get the chance to see the tallest flagpole in the world standing at 311 feet at Merdeka Square and visit the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex to see the process of local arts and crafts. Pay a visit to the Cocoa Boutique for a chocolate gallery for varieties of chocolates of different forms and shapes.
