Explore the Greek island through its most renowned spots and learn about its fascinating trivia with your bilingual tour guide. You will start your tour with a visit to the Prophet Elias Monastery, an architectural monument, built in 1712. You’ll find religious art to explore within the monastery. Next, you will head to Pyrgos village, strolling through its medieval narrow streets and experiencing a slice of the island life.
Get ready to delve into the history of Santorini while exploring the Akrotiri Excavations, a settlement that was buried under volcanic ash in the 16th century. After exploring the historic site, you will walk to Red Beach, one of the most famous and scenic beaches in the region. The unique natural red of the sand is formed from the volcanic rock in the area and is sure to increase the aesthetic beauty of your travel photographs! Once you’ve relaxed, you will head to the capital of the island - Fira Town. Here, you will get the opportunity to enjoy traditional Santorini life. Your bus tour will end at Oia witnessing a colorful sunset on the horizon against the sea after which you will head back to your drop-off points.
